Kemei Electronics Announces New Automotive Grade Film Capacitors

Kemei Electronics ( KEMET) announced the launch of a new line of automotive grade metallized polypropylene film capacitors. The F863 X2 miniature capacitors are specifically designed to provide stable performance for safe applications in harsh environments and harsh environmental conditions.

These new devices are suitable for automotive and industrial applications. It provides cross-line electromagnetic interference ( EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI) filtering for a growing number of automotive electronics applications, as well as for indoor applications such as capacitive power supplies .

The F863 series meets AEC-Q200 certification requirements with capacitance values ​​ranging from 0.1μF to 10μF and rated voltages up to 310VAC. The new RFI X2 capacitors are fully approved and operate over the -40°C to +110°C temperature range.

The metallized polypropylene film dielectric has excellent self-healing properties. In addition, Kemei Electronics' designers have strengthened the main components in this capacitor family to help overcome the traditional capacitive loss mechanism. With these improvements, the F863 Series offers extremely high capacitive stability while meeting international safety requirements such as ENEC, CUL and CQC.
